Hello hello! 

We know it’s been a few weeks since we’ve posted anything and we’d like to share with you what we’ve been up to while we’ve been away! Here at Leadership Inspirations we think that summertime is the best time because we get to work with so many incredible student leaders who want to make an impact on their campuses. 

This summer we hosted 4 Leadership Academies, working with over 750 students from 32 schools in Southern and Northern California. These students represented groups like ASB, PTSA, Renaissance, Diversity, and Campus Ministry. While at Leadership Academy these students spent their time developing leadership skills, teambuilding, networking with other students, and getting ready for the upcoming school year. This year our theme was “Have Courage” and we explored big questions like what is courage? how do we have courageous conversations? and how do we step outside of our comfort zones? (We’ll discuss this topic more in next week’s blog post!). 

Here are some of the key highlights from each of our Leadership Academy experiences: 

At our Northern California Public Schools Leadership Academy, students presented Community Benefit Projects for ideas like student feedback drop boxes, food drives, and school supply care packages.

At our Southern California High Schools Leadership Academy, students were put to the ultimate test on the University of California, Irvine TeamUp! Odyssey Ropes Course. 

At our Anaheim Union High School District Leadership Academy, we awarded 26 students with scholarships for sharing their stories of courage. 

At our Northern California Private Catholic Schools Leadership Academy, schools worked together to plan collaborative events for the school year.

In the meantime, we are excited for the rest of the summer as our coaches work to facilitate leadership workshops and customizable programs with more middle school, high school, and college students!
